In a pinch, an empty toilet paper roll can even be flattened and turned into an effortless box for small trinkets and jewelry.

We've all seen those viral, super-fast wrapping videos. For many of the pros, the secret to wrapping traditional rectangular-shaped items like books and boxes is to align the gift diagonally (not parallel) with the wrapping paper for a more even wrap with less wasted paper.
